Welcome to Glen Keen Farm near the town of Louisburgh

Glen Keen, one of Ireland's largest working sheep farms is located on the heart of the Wild Altantic Way on the R335 just 6.2 miles from Louisburgh, County Mayo, in the direction of Delphi and Leenane.


You can relax and unwind in the beautiful traditional tearooms and enjoy many of the homecooked delights, savoury lunches, delicious cakes and you may also be in for a musical treat!  Part of the wonderful experience at Glen Keen Farm is a combination of beautiful songs and music performed by in house Staff!


On farm demonstrations for group bookings include sheep dog herding where visitors can enjoy a display of professional sheep herding by the trained farm border collies, an itinerary of scheduled demonstrations for individual visitors during the months of July & August is available at www.glenkeenfarm.com


Other demonstrations for group bookings include traditional turf cutting (by hand), the processing of sheep wool using non-mechanical instruments such as the spinning wheel and historical presentations on the local area.


On farm activities include; edible nature walks (min. 5 guests & pre-booking essential) and self-guided walks.
