SurfMayo in Louisburgh, County Mayo run two-hour surf lessons twice daily from mid-March to mid-November, and three times daily during July and August.

They cater for adults, teenagers, families, social groups, clubs, schools and individuals.


Founded in 1998, SurfMayo in Louisburgh, County Mayo was one of Ireland's first established surf schools and has the reputation of being one of the finest facilities for learning to surf in Ireland.


SurfMayo is open seven days per week, running surf lessons and surfboard hire at Carrownisky Strand. Their kiddies surf camp operates during July and August, Monday-Friday, from 10.00am till 12.00pm. Due to the increased numbers attending the summer surf camp, pre booking is strongly advised.


The kiddies surf camp aims to educate the team on water safety, wave knowledge, surf equipment knowledge, surf etiquette and safety, and to bring the surf team to their full potential and ability, surfing in a totally safe and fun environment.
